IF you are interested in becoming a dyslexia teacher or therapist, please send us a message. We’d be glad to meet with you by Zoom or phone. Please include basic information about yourself: your location, post-secondary education, your personal or professional interest in dyslexia, and (if applicable) your school district.
Please note that MLTI-NM is an institute that trains educators to provide services to individuals with dyslexia. While we do not maintain a list of Providers of Dyslexia Services, on occasion a student needing services can be matched to a trainee needing a student. Please do not hesitate to contact us if looking for a provider. You may also check the Provider List for New Mexico at ALTAread.org. Please note that not all NM providers received their training through MLTI-NM.
The greatest benefit of using the SIS curriculum is that it is designed to be tailored to the needs of the specific student. Modifications based on student needs are expected and highly encouraged. B. Vigil, 2020 Cohort
